Exercise- Day 3 and 4

Day 3:
My running buddy and I couldn't meet today, because I had an awesome opportunity: one of my Wellness Coaching teachers, acupuncturist Dory Ellen Fish, offered to let us shadow her at her clinic, and I jumped at the chance! Wednesday was the best day, so I drove an hour to her office (I know, very anti-exercise! But it reminded me of how regular commuters often feel), and had a fantastic, fascinating day.

At the end of it, I was whipped and still had 2 classes to teach at the pilates studio that night. Whew! Dory must have been pooped too, but she is so lovely you'd never know it.

In the morning I did about 5 minutes of yoga before I got in the car, and I did a set of leg presses and footstraps at the studio. But I definitely clocked more steps than usual for the day!


Day 4:
We both woke up with all the best intentions of meeting at 7 and jogging in the beautiful warm morning, and we both canceled from tummy trouble. Ah well.

I did a 20 minute yoga program based on Warrior poses in the afternoon, including one-legged Warrior 3! I also spent several hours cleaning my place, so I'm counting that!! I also still felt like I was recovering from the day before with Dory; it must have been more draining than I realized.

There's a side benefit I'm noticing- I'm motivated to eat better, and regularly. So this week feels good so far!
