Introducing theCHRONIC STRESS RECOVERY1:1 OnlineCoaching Program |
It's Time to Experience Relief for the Stressed, Tired, Burned Out YOU
|

Have you seen the meme that says, "I'M SO TIRED MY TIRED IS TIRED"?
It's cute, and accurate, but when you really are that tired, it's not funny anymore.
Survival becomes an hourly matter and prioritizing your energy becomes a ruthless exercise.
I'm here to tell you that you CAN recover. And if you are nearing the point of collapse, you can avoid it.
Stress is a part of our lives- it's really what makes us alive, in the end. It doesn't have to ruin you. I've been there, and I can coach you back to resilience.
This is not a quick fix.
There is no magic pill. You didn't get here overnight, you won't be thriving by tomorrow.
In fact, the factors that developed your "old self" brought you here, and we have some discussions ahead about what choices you might be able to make.
And I will suggest suggest herbal and dietary supplements to support you while you heal, others to help you rebuild and regain strength- I am an Herbalist after all.
There are many other factors involved too, and you will be challenged to approach your healing with full responsibility and an open mind.
Our focus is on:
Healing is not a linear process, and you will learn the tools to use to begin your climb back to yourself. This will take some time, and these tools and practices help you build the foundations of long-term healing and recovery.
This ONLINE program lasts 5 months, but your process will probably take longer. Together we will set the stage for your continued repair and healing so you can develop a routine that takes you through your journey, as well as gives you a routine to return to if you need it again.

Testimonials
"I wasn't exactly sure what I'd be getting into when I started this program, or if I'd be able to keep up with it. Initially when I started it, I was somewhat overwhelmed by starting a new routine with a lot of different components. But I've actually found it really easy to keep up with, and I'm glad I've been doing so. |

"I didn't have any hesitations [about starting the Program]. The changes I noticed have to do with less fatigue after night sleep. However, not every time. I have a bit more resilience. I like your personality...I would recommend the program to people who would like to have support and coaching; and increase their awareness of healthy living and stress management." |

About Your Coach, Paula Billig

I have always been optimistic (mostly) and stubborn (allllways), logical and practical, nonconforming and independent. So when I found myself in my mid-20's, the owner of a fitness franchise with an SBA loan and a partner and an existing client list, it was a new adventure. Very quickly, though, that partner and that franchise structure both turned out to be failures and within 18 months I was on my own.
Running a 2-5 person business solo isn’t a great idea, and doing it full throttle with no clue about what was happening beyond when the next set of fitness classes is scheduled wasn’t going to last long. I made it 5 years with the help of some wonderful friends and instructors, then I crashed. Hard.
I managed not to burn down the entire bridge, and moved into a women’s fitness center that would shoulder the burden of my admin work. I paid off that loan e.a.r.l.y. And I minimized my life and started looking for ways to recover some of the vitality and strength I used to have.
It’s time to mention that back when I took over the fitness business, I also started formal training with an Herbalist in Philadelphia. Herbal medicine had always been a passion; I grew up with herbs and knew from my earliest career planning sessions in high school that I wanted to be an Herbalist. Weird, right? They thought so too! And still, here we are.

Some of my herbal knowledge surfaced to help, and I gave myself LOTS of permission to simply rest. At my nadir I was napping daily and sleeping 12 hour nights at midweek and on weekends. I barely did enough work to get by and constantly reassessed my financial and personal priorities, like going cable TV-free before it was trendy. Fun fact- I also picked up side jobs petsitting for some clients. Staying in their homes was like a vacation with their central air and laundry rooms, and at some points I spent more time with their pets than anyone else.
Then, at a lecture given by a Canadian naturopath about mitochondria dysfunction, all the flags went up. This was it! I was already doing about half of what he mentioned, some of it I couldn’t do like IV treatments, but I picked up many new pointers, started learning more, and then I began to make progress.
The first big thing I did right away was increase my breakfast protein. I’m talking 4 eggs or a double serving of protein shake or leftover dinner stew; I started even my day off with lots of protein. This is the NUMBER ONE suggestion I make to everyone struggling with energy, and it almost always helps start a turnaround. Yes, there’s herbs and supplements and lifestyle additions and adjustments to make also, but without the foundational energy to enact them it needs to come from somewhere, and protein is your key energy source.
For context, I stayed in this high-protein-plus-herbals-and-rest habit for over 2 years before it suddenly, organically stopped, and I found myself at a new crossroads. I was ready to live a life instead of just surviving it (For me this new shift involved the keto diet and getting serious about my herbal business and taking my first camping trip. Your mileage may vary.)
The whole healing arc from crash to thriving took between 4 and 5 years, give or take. I’m still doing the “Gosh, remember when I couldn’t have done this activity or handled that stress event??” happy dance regularly.
From a foundation of Mitochondrial Dysfunction and my experience I’ve created this 1:1 Stress Recovery wellness coaching program, specifically so that you can reduce your own arc length and find your path back to healthy faster, by removing much of the trial and error I have already been through.
